Katie has been passionate about health, wellness, and movement for as long as she can remember. With a very active upbringing and as a former gymnast, movement has always been a constant in her life.
Katie found yoga as an adult and was initially drawn to the physical benefits, the strength, flexibility, and intentional movement. Over time, she discovered the mental peace it offered. As someone with a busy, always-moving mind, yoga became a powerful tool for clarity, focus, and grounding.
By day, Katie works a 9 to 5 corporate job, which fuels her passion for incorporating movement throughout the day and making wellness accessible in real life, not just in the studio. She believes movement should feel empowering, sustainable, and fun.
In addition to teaching strong, accessible Vinyasa classes, Katie runs a social fitness club in the Chicagoland area, organizing community bike rides and other events that bring people together through movement. She is deeply passionate about building community and creating spaces where people feel supported, energized, and inspired.
Her classes are strong and dynamic, yet welcoming to all levels. Students can expect to leave feeling powerful, energized, maybe a little sweaty, and ready to take on their day :)
