Mirtha is a devoted student and teacher of yoga, drawn to the sacred connection between breath, movement, sound, and spirit. Her own journey with yoga has been a profound path of healing and transformation, helping her move through trauma, transmute energy, and return again and again to the wisdom held within the body.

She believes yoga is more than a physical practice; it is an invitation to come home to ourselves. Through intentional movement, conscious breath, and the healing vibrations of sound, Mirtha creates space for students to soften, release, reconnect, and listen inward. She is especially passionate about sound healing and weaving intentional sound into her classes as a way to soothe the nervous system, shift energy, and deepen the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Mirtha completed her 200-hour teacher training with BareFeet Power Yoga under the guidance of Julianne Farrell, Ali Brashler, and Robin Samples in November 2024. Her teaching is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that each person carries their own innate wisdom. Rather than asking students to move toward a particular ideal, she encourages them to become more deeply attuned to what their bodies, hearts, and spirits are asking for in each moment.

With warmth, presence, and a loving approach, Mirtha holds space for each student to explore their own path of healing and self-discovery. Whether in a group class or one-on-one practice, her intention is to create a sacred and nurturing space where students can breathe, move, feel, release, and remember the connection that already exists within.
