My yoga journey began over 20 years ago, long before it became a trend or a checkbox on a wellness list. I was first introduced to yoga in high school through my dance company, where movement was not just performance but a language, discipline, and devotion. Yoga became the quiet counterbalance to the intensity of dance, teaching me how to listen inward, breathe through sensation, and move with intention.

Over the years, my practice deepened and evolved, eventually calling me into teaching. I have taught adults and children of all ages, across a wide range of abilities and life stages. Each group has been a teacher in its own right, reinforcing my belief that yoga is not about perfect poses, but about presence, safety, and self-trust.

My classes are shaped by my training in Reiki and my understanding of trauma responses and the nervous system. I approach yoga as a somatic experience that honors the body’s wisdom and creates space for release without force. Every class is designed to support regulation, grounding, and gentle unwinding, allowing students to reconnect with themselves at their own pace.

In my approach, yoga is not something you perform, it is something you experience. A practice of coming home to your body, softening armor you didn’t know you were carrying, and remembering that healing can be both powerful and kind.
