Yama
Living our Moral Codes:
The Yamas 26-Hour Module
Prerequisite: No prior certification required
Join us in the art of conscious living. Step into deeper alignment with your teaching and your life through Living Our Moral Codes: The Yamas — a profound exploration of the five ethical principles that guide our relationship to the world around us.
This course unpacks in five weeks- the Yamas (Abstinences/Restraints) not just as philosophy, but as living, breathing practices that shape the way we show up, consciously and compassionately — in thought, word, and action.
Each week, we will journey through:
Ahimsa (Non-Violence): Cultivating kindness by reducing harm in all its forms — to ourselves, others, and the planet.
Satya (Universal Truth): Embracing what is, beyond personal biases, and living in radical acceptance of reality.
Asteya (Non-Stealing): Honoring fairness and integrity — giving more than we take, moving from scarcity to Generosity.
Brahmacharya (Non-Indulgence): Learning to navigate desires with grace, finding pleasure in moderation and alignment.
Aparigraha (Non-Possessiveness): Letting go of attachment — asking “Do I have enough?” and making purposeful use of what we have without clinging to ownership.
This module offers not just intellectual study but embodied practices, reflective inquiry, and practical tools to integrate the Yamas into your teaching, leadership, and personal life. This is an invitation to refine your moral compass, deepen your awareness, and guide others with authenticity and clarity.
